Beer type: Irish Red Ale
Alcohol Level: 5.5%
Brewed By: Church Street Brewery
So, I love amber and red ales a lot so I’m a little partial. But, this Irish Red Ale is definitely one you need to try. I wish I could’ve tried this on St. Patrick’s Day and not after. It’s got a rich smell and a big head of foam when you pour it in a glass. Pair this with a red meat and some potatoes and you’ll be satisfied.
Church Street Brewery is in Itasca, a Chicago suburb. They say this beer has, “Notes of caramel, toffee, and buttered toast provide for a smooth and complex flavor profile – topped with a creamy head.”
Overall, I’m a big fan of this beer and I’d suggest it to any fan of local, craft beer.
